Roselle (Hibiscus sabdariffa) also called Florida cranberry, red sorrel, or Jamaica sorrel that grows in tropical climate. Its edible bright red and acidic fleshy calyces can be used to make a variety of jams, sauces, teas, and increasingly, as red food colouring.
